- The Micah Initiative: a partnership program between churches, synagogues, mosques and other faith-based communities and Richmond Public Schools for the purpose of supporting the education and the nurture of the children of Richmond. Trinity is one of three churches partnered with Oak Grove/Bellemeade. Opportunities abound: Be a mentor, tutor, classroom assistant, lunch buddy on a monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly basis. Chaperone a field trip.

- Care & Connect: This program needs weekly drivers in the summer and funding for camperships.

- Helping Hands Girls Club/Boys Force: Needs adult volunteers to work with fourth and fifth grade children from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday.
