“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her.

Luke 1:38

My faith is deeply rooted through the guidance and love from many strong women throughout my life.  Learning how to embrace God’s words and share with others is a continuous journey.  Often, a simple smile, a prayer, or a note of encouragement lets someone know they are not forgotten. Allowing God to live in your heart brings great joy, but the greater joy is sharing with others each day.

Women continue to make an impact in the church, community and world because we embrace three simple verbs:  listen, understand and act.  The United Methodist Women celebrate 150 years as an organized group this year.  This photo depicts Trinity members portraying leaders who recognized the needs of women throughout our world and took action to improve lives and share God’s message.  I am proud to be part of this group of Christian women, just as my mother and grandmother were.

Sharing the wonderful news that Jesus loves us and is by our side through our journey of life is my Christmas message.
