“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”Galatians 6:9
Many thanks to everyone who supported Reach Out RVA 3.0. at Oak Grove-Bellemeade Elementary School.
On Saturday, September 7, volunteers cleared a creek bank of invasive species plants, made bicycle repairs, planted hydrangeas in a memorial garden, and spread mulch in landscaped beds in the school’s parking lot. Long time, Oak Grove-Bellemeade community advocate, Bob Argabright, helped to coordinate the volunteer assignments. We also appreciated the 30 gently used bicycles that were donated and repaired at the Charlie Thomas Repair Shop.
Sunday, we had a beautiful afternoon for a cookout and fellowship. Trinity members and guests from the local community enjoyed food by Send-A-Chef. This celebration capped a busy summer of volunteer and donation opportunities for the Trinity congregation.
We appreciate the donations of school supplies, food, shoes, bicycles, and loose change. All of your help made a difference in the life of a person in need. Thanks!!
