Call To Worship

Taste and see that the Lord is good.
  God’s steadfast love endures forever.
Magnify the Lord, source of everlasting mercy.
  God’s steadfast love endures forever.
Taste and see that the Lord is good.
  God’s steadfast love endures forever.

♪ Singing

“Joy of the Lord”
Though the tears may fall,
my song will rise; my song will rise to you.
Though my heart may fail,
my song will rise; my song will rise to you.
While there’s breath in my lungs,
I will praise you, Lord.

In the dead of night,
I’ll lift my eyes; I’ll lift my eyes to you.
Though the waters rise,
I’ll lift my eyes; I’ll lift my eyes to you.
While there’s hope in this heart,
I will praise you, Lord.

Chorus
The joy of the Lord is my strength.
The joy of the Lord is my strength.
In the darkness I’ll dance;
in the shadows I’ll sing.
The joy of the Lord is my strength.

When I cannot see you with my eyes
let faith arise to you.
When I cannot feel your hand in mine
let faith arise to you.
God of mercy and love,
I will praise you, Lord. C

“Cornerstone”
My hope is built on nothing less
than Jesus blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame
But wholly trust in Jesus’ name
(Repeat)

Chorus:
Christ alone, Cornerstone
Weak made strong
in the Savior’s love.
Through the storm,
He is Lord—
Lord of all

When darkness seems to hide his face
I rest on his unchanging grace
In every high and stormy gale
My anchor holds within the veil
My anchor holds within the veil C

When he shall come
with trumpet sound
Oh may I then in him be found.
Dressed in his righteousness alone
Faultless to stand before the throne C

Opening Prayer

God our healer, source of everlasting mercy,
grant us your healing balm,
that we may be truly made well and whole
and follow you all the days of our lives. Amen.

Affirmation

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
   maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ, his only Son our Lord:
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
  born of the Virgin Mary,
  suffered under Pontius Pilate,
  was crucified, dead, and buried;
the third day he rose from the dead;
  he ascended into heaven,
and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty
from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
  the holy catholic church,
  the communion of saints,
  the forgiveness of sins,
  the resurrection of the body
  and the life everlasting. Amen.

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and
the glory, forever. Amen.

Invitation to Offering and Prayer
Mighty God, just as you
restore sight to the blind
and benevolence to the afflicted,
use these offerings to provide
refuge for the lost and mercy
for those who suffer.
May our gifts find those
who cry out in their need
and who seek you with their
whole hearts.
We ask this in Jesus’ name,
the name above all names. Amen.

 ♪ Anthem

“The Way”
Through every battle,
through every heartbreak,
through every circumstance,
I believe that you are my fortress,
and you are my portion,
and you are my hiding place.

I believe you are:
The Way, the Truth, the Life.
I believe you are:
The Way, the Truth, the Life.
I believe.

Through every blessing,
through every promise,
through every breath I take,
I believe that you are Provider,
and you are Protector,
and you are the One I love! C

It’s a new horizon,
and I’m set on you.
And you meet me here today
with mercies that are new.
All my fears and doubts,
they can all come too.
Because they can’t stay long
when I believe you are:
(Repeat)

The Way, the Truth, the Life
I believe you are.

♪ Doxology

Praise God all creatures here below!
Praise God above ye heavenly host!
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost!

For love, my God, you died for me.
I hear you whisper in my heart.
The morning breaks;
the shadows flee.
Pure universal Love, you are.

To me, to all, your mercies move!
Your nature and your name is Love.
To me, to all, your mercies move!
Your nature and your name is Love.

Amen, amen.
Amen, amen.
