Prep for the annual Boy Scout Yard Sale starts when two storage containers are delivered to the Trinity parking lot behind the playground. Those containers fill up quick with donate items, and then the tough work starts. The Scouts and their volunteers must sort and display those items in Trinity Hall. That big fellowship hall undergoes quite a transformation on Thursday and Friday. But, by late Friday afternoon, all of the items are priced and systematically displayed.

On Saturday, even though the doors do not open until 8 a.m., dedicated shoppers start lining up at the back doors to Trinity Hall by 6:30. The brisk temperatures make some wait in their cars with heaters running. But the real die hard shoppers brave the cold and patiently wait in line.

This event has become a great success for the Scouts, and we appreciate all of the folks who come out to support the yard sale.
