The Children’s Mission Trip participants had an amazing time on their trip in June. We stayed at Virginia Wesleyan College and did mission work in the Norfolk/VA Beach area. We enjoyed the fellowship and bingo with the ladies at Lydia H. Porter Home, in Norfolk. We also planned, shopped for and prepared a meal for the Norfolk Ronald McDonald House. In VA Beach we worked at the Nimmo UMC Community garden and separated bulk supplies at Potter’s House. When we are not busy with our hands-on projects, we spent time together in Prayer & Bible study, preparing our own meals, watching a movie, and playing team building games.
