Kids Church began on Sunday, January 5. Sunday’s big idea was: We can spend time with God. Each small group pretended to be astronauts (wearing a helmet and gloves) and attempted to put together a puzzle in the midst of many distractions. We then discussed that if we had more time and the ability to practice, we would get better at it. This experience is similar to spending time with God. We can face many distractions and it can feel awkward, but with practice, spending time with God becomes a habit!
