Order a Christmas Poinsettia

Advent is a time when we choose to honor and/or memorialize loved ones by listing their names in the bulletin during the Christmas season.

The cost to have a tribute "in honor of" or "in memory of" listed in the bulletins at Christmas is $20. You may pay by check, cash, or on the website
here. If paying online, ensure that you choose "Poinsettias" from the drop-down menu.

The funds received will be used to offset the cost of flowers used to decorate sanctuary and foyers during the Christmas season. Monies received above the cost of the flowers will be donated to Trinity mission work.

The Deadline for receiving contributions is Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

Trinity Christmas Ornaments: New for 2025!

Christmas Ornament Order Form

This year, we're selling Christmas ornaments! Any proceeds from the ornaments will benefit Trinity, with a fund to be determined by the Finance Committee. This is a pre-order: ornaments will be ready for pickup sometime in mid-December. You may pay for your ornaments by cash or check in the office orĀ online. If paying online, use the drop-down fund "Ornaments".

To see photos of the ornaments, visit our Christmas page.

Special Mission Opportunities During Advent

In addition to our regularly occurring mission work at Trinity, we have opportunities to be in service in special ways this Advent.

Beginning on November 16, you will be able to take an ornament from our Oak Grove Elementary School advent tree. Students have been recommended by teachers working with Oak Grove's social worker and the Communities in Schools representative. After you pick your tag off the tree in the Welcome Center, you will provide three gifts for that student - a toy, a book, and an article of clothing. The tag for each angel will provide information about the student, including ages, sizes, and interests to help with shopping. Gifts should be wrapped separately and returned in a plastic bag tied shut with the tag attached to the bag. Gifts will be distributed to students before the winter holiday; they need to be returned no later than Sunday, December 14.

The Saturday Literacy Academy at Bellemeade Park is having a Holiday Party on Saturday, December 13 at 10:00am! You are invited to attend (a special invitation to any Trinity Students that may want to attend) and enjoy the festivities, including: photos with Santa, cookies, singing, and storytime. Beginning on November 16, you are invited to bring gently used or new books appropriate for children ages pre-k through fifth grade to donate for the children to pick out and take home. Books should be placed in Mission Central in bags labeled "Bellemeade Holiday Party" and delivered by Wednesday, December 10.

2025 Advent Devotional

This year, we will be using the Society of St. Andrew Advent 2025 devotional: Embrace Joy. Copies are available at Trinity for pickup, or you may download a digital version below. We hope that this will help facilitate your devotional time during this season!
