Our Wednesday night study group, 3M (named for Mary, Martha and Mark), will begin its thirteenth year in September. We meet Wednesdays, 6 – 7:30 PM and we study works from different theologians and authors. Last year we studied The Difficult Words of Jesus by Amy-Jill Levine, The Angels of Christmas by Susan Robb, Words of Life by Adam Hamilton and What’s So Amazing about Grace? by Philip Yancey.
This fall we will begin by studying Called by Susan Robb. A description from Cokesbury’s website follows: “Throughout the Bible, God interrupts the lives of ordinary men and women, calling and empowering them to lives of service they never could have imagined on their own. Called will examine the lives of the Abraham, Samuel, Esther and Mary Magdalene, Jonah, and the beloved disciple.”
We will begin on Wednesday, September 27, both in person and via Zoom.
Persons can contact Judy Oguich should you wish to join 3M for this study.
