We believe that there is a place for everyone here at Trinity. Wherever you are in your journey of life or faith, the Students Ministry at Trinity will always be a welcoming place for you to feel loved, encouraged, and empowered to live an abundant life we are called into by Jesus. A place at the table with Jesus is always set for you, and we will continue to create a safe place for you to explore who Jesus is or for you to dive deeper into a relationship with Him.
Students will follow the same guidelines as adults. Students here at Trinity experience God through worshiping together, growing in our faith with each other, living in community with those around us, and serving the world. Our weekly gatherings consist of worship on Sunday morning at 9:00 or 11:00 am, discipleship hour on Sunday morning at 10:00 am, and our Sunday fellowship gathering from 5:00-6:00 pm. Every month we have a series of different events like; small group meetings, retreats, lock-ins, bible studies, pastoral-led classes, confirmation, and much more.
Questions? Please email at email@example.com
Trinity also reaches out to its community and helps build relationships by helping each other. We have monthly trips out to our partners like; Oak Grove–Bellemeade neighborhood and elementary school, Sherbourne UMC Food Pantry, the Tuckahoe area schools, UMFS, Shalom Farms, and CARITAS, and many others. We also offer week-long service experiences here in Richmond, and around the United States.
Student Youth Group Registration 2021-22
The centerpiece of Trinity UMC Student Ministry is Sunday Night Youth Group which runs during the school year.
Typically, our Youth Group starts with dinner and then follows will follow a Large Group/Small Group model.
During Youth Group, the youth will be in a larger group setting for forty-five minutes while they participate in a few games, hear a message and have some worship music; they also spend thirty to forty-five in small groups where they will do group activities and have a group discussion about what was shared in large group. Small group time is when youth will be in peer groups of their own age and have the opportunity to make friends and grow in faith in a more intimate environment.
This Fall as we adjust by catering dinner for youth, please bring $3 each week for Student Dinner.
