We have many different opportunities for you to serve with and make a difference in the lives of our kids.
Will You Sign Up to Serve in Kids Worship?
Have you been to the 9 AM service recently? We have started to offer Kids Worship for our pre-k through 2nd graders during the sermon. After the Kids Moment, Jen takes this age group of kids out of the service for activities geared towards their learning level while the rest of the congregation hears the sermon being preached. Kids return to the service after the sermon.
In order to be able to continue offering Kids Worship, we need one adult volunteer each week to serve with Jen. This role requires no prep for volunteers; you will provide support during the activities and focus on building relationships with the kids – this is the best part of kids ministry!
Our goal for August is to get the sign up genius for Kids Worship all filled up before September!
1. If you have a child that will be participating in Kids Worship, Jen is asking that you sign up for just 4 slots for the entire year!
2. If you determine that you can’t serve during the week that you are signed up, please try to swap weeks with someone else or find someone to cover for you. If you can’t find someone, let Jen know and she will find a substitute for you.
The response so far to this new addition to the 9 AM service has been really positive! Please help us keep the momentum going by signing up to serve in Kids Worship!
Why Serve?
We want each child in our Kids Ministry to have five adults pouring into their lives.
Modern Worship
Sundays @ 9:30 AM
Serve with Kids Church in Check-in, as a small group leader, or help lead and facilitate worship.
Traditional Worship
Sundays @ 11:00 AM
Serve with Kids Church in Check-in, as a small group leader, or help lead and facilitate worship.
Sunday Evenings
Sundays @ 5:00 PM
Serve in the Nursery, as a small group leader (K/1, 2/3, or 4/5), serve on the Decorating Team, the Planning Team or the Supplies Team.
Students Serving
Students (6th-12th grade) are encouraged to help serve in Kids Ministry.
Students may serve as small group co-leaders (with an adult) either on Sunday mornings or Sunday evenings.
